Recognize what moves people!

That's for sure: electric vehicles will become a central part of future mobility. But how fast they become established will depend crucially on the charging infrastructure. Can I charge my electric vehicle quickly and easily at home, at work or on the road? How easy is it to pay for electricity? How expensive is it to install a charging station? And: How advanced is the technology today? These are some of the questions that are important both for potential electric vehicle users and for planners and operators of charging stations. We at Weidmüller Mobility Concepts develop charging stations that provide solutions to these questions.

A good charging infrastructure is the basis for electric mobility. Both in the private and the professional sector. The challenge here is to build and further develop this infrastructure in an intelligent and demand-oriented manner.

Sustainability

As a company of the Weidmüller Group, sustainability is not merely a buzzword for us, but rather our default approach. Weidmüller was involved in solutions for renewable energies at an early stage and has distinguished itself as a pioneer in wind power and photovoltaics. The company continues to be one of the leading suppliers in these areas. The company's own buildings are also equipped with photovoltaic systems and have state-of-the-art energy management systems for maximum efficiency. Inspired by this attitude, we at Weidmüller Mobility Concepts have consistently focused our thoughts and actions on sustainability.

Charging infrastructure and its challenge

Electromobility is something that everyone's talking about, and that is becoming increasingly important. Mobility and sustainability seem more compatible than ever before. Everything seems so simple - but is this really the case? Closer observation reveals that there is still a lot that needs to be done. An efficient charging infrastructure plays a key role for electromobility.
